A Scene From “30 Rock LIVE”
Here is a scene from my “30 Rock” reading. I am so thankful to the actors and everybody who came out for making it such a great night.
Tonight’s the Night…
Here’s all the last minute info for tonight’s reading. Admission if free and we’ll have tons of snacks and free pizza. Also, we’re going to be hitting up Big Wangs after the show (Selma and Ivar):
The show starts tonight at 8:30 pm at the iO West Andy Dick Theatre at 1674 Cosmo Street, Hollywood CA.
Hope to see you there!
-Rob
SOME PARKING INFO: I highly recommend parking at the meter parking on Cahenga between Hollywood and Yucca. The meters only go until 8pm, so there’s usually open spots around the CVS at 8:00 pm. There is also some street parking around Yucca (north of Hollwyood). There is also valet parking at the iO and I believe that it comes out to $5 with validation at the iO box office.
“30 Rock Live” Cast Announcement

The "cast" of "30 Rock Live"
This Sunday night is the big show and I’m extremely lucky to be working with a very talented cast. Here’s a little bit of information about some of the stars of “30 Rock Live”:
Talia Talin (Liz Lemon): Talia has been acting on stage ever since she was a little girl. She attended Chapman University and got her BFA in Acting. She made the big move to LA after school and has been acting out here ever since.
Ron Barba (Jack Donaghy): Ron Barba is a recovering stand up comedian, a songwriter, actor and filmmaker. He does the perfect Strip Club DJ impression and a dead on impersonation of famous poker player Phil Hellmuth. He has a featured video on YouTube about famed painter Bob Ross called Why I Don’t Paint People and a parody of the song You had a Bad Day summing up our nation’s issues called You Had a Bad Year.
Lloyd Collins (Tracy Jordan): Lloyd Collins is from Chicago his background happily excludes selling anybody a Senate seat. The Chicago comedy groups that have been pumped up with his presence include Pimprov, and Becoming Jerome.
Judd Fish (Kenneth Parcell): Born in Southern Indiana and raised in Germany and the Detroit Metro area, Judd hit the West coast initially to train at UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and TV. Since graduating Judd has been making his way in film, tv, theater and internet projects in and around Los Angeles. He is currenty honing his comedic skills in front of Middle School students in South Central as a substitute teacher.
Pam Levin (Jenna Maroney): Pam just performed in the Young Playwrights Festival. She also is in the new feature film, “Baby on Board” with Heather Graham & Jerry O’Connell. She just finished wrapping the hilarious independent feature “Bingo Confidential.” Most recently, Pam was nominated for a 2009 GARLAND AWARD for “Best Performance in a (Primarily) Straight Play” in the World Premiere comedy “Suffer the Long Night”.
Adam Sauter (Frank, Tracy Jordan Jr.): Hailing from parts unknown, meet Adam Sauter. He has worked as a series regular in many web shows Rob has written (Most recently, as one of the stars of “DownStairsGuys“). Adam thinks Rob is a cool guy but will own him in fantasy football this year.
Tim Pilleri (Narrator): Tim Pilleri has always wanted to be the narrator in school plays and never got his chance… until Rob Cesternino has given him that chance. Since receiving a degree in performing arts, Tim has used his acting skills in film, television, and on stage. Tim hails from Boston and has been in Los Angeles for five glorious years.
“30 Rock Live” Invitations on Facebook
I’ve been listening to what people are looking for on Facebook and they want two things… MORE APPS and MORE INVITATIONS. Well, there’s no “30 Rock Live” app in development, but there are now Facebook invites going around.
If you’re interested in coming on out to the reading on July 19th and you didn’t get your invitation, visit the Facebook invite now.
Now Casting for 30 Rock LIVE!
Have you ever wanted the chance to play your favorite 30 Rock characters? I am looking for actors and actresses to read the parts of the 30 Rock stars in my upcoming spec script at the iO West. The reading is just like a table read performed before the audience, so there are no costumes and you won’t need to look like the characters (I guess it wouldn’t hurt), you just need to sound like them.
The actual reading will be on Sunday night, July 19th in the Andy Dick theater at the iO West. We will also do a rehearsal some time a few days before the event. It’s going to be a fun night and I will be recording the show and will be happy to make you a copy.
If you’re interested or have any questions, contact me at robs30rock@gmail.com and let me know which character you’re interested in playing. Feel free to include any links to your work.
